CHESS CLUB (Grades K-6)
TONIGHT AT 7PM in the Children’s Room
You saw it in the Bellmore Herald, now come experience Chess Club in person! This program is great for children in grades K-6, from beginner to advanced! Our instructor will give your child tips on how to play, and coach him/her in a match between peers.
On Tuesday, February 7th from 7-7:30PM, there will be a live webcast on Senator Fuschillo’s website.
Nearly half of all teens have been the victim of cyber-bullying. Learn how to protect yourself or your child.
Jim McClenahan performed a “Comedy Magic Show” at the library this past Saturday. It was a hilarious show for the entire family, and a great time was had by all!

Reading Club Begins on Monday, December 12, 2011.
For Ages 4-12. There are 6 levels (at 2 books each) with Prizes.
Including: Bookmarks; Hero Cards: Stickers; Ticket Vouchers; Hot Wheels Die cast Toy; And Registration to win a Family Four Pack of VIP Tickets (Premium Gold Circle Seating) at the Nassau Coliseum.
Reading Club End Date: Friday, January 13th, 2012.
7-8PM kids in kindergarten through 6th grade are invited to play Bingo in the Children’s Room.
Registration is required, so if you haven’t registered yet and plan to come, please call the children’s room to let us know.
On Saturday, November 19, we were delighted to have a special visit from The Baking Coach! She taught us how to make pretzel log cabins out of delicious treats. Be on the look out for more food decorating programs in the near future.
