If you came into the library through the west entrance recently, you may have noticed a banner hanging on the wall. We are proudly displaying this banner for the month of October to spread awareness of the importance of non-violence. October 2 was International Day of Non-Violence, and to honor this day, some of our TAG members came to create their own non-violence posters which are currently displayed in the Teen area. Please stop by to view their artwork on your next trip to BML!

28 teens gathered at long tables in the community room to hear our favorite chef, Tom Valenti of Piccolo Ristorante, telling about all kinds of pizzas, then walking us all step-by-step through the art of building a small, incredibly wonderful pizza to bake at home. He brought wonderful dough, amazing sauce, and impossibly delicious cheese. There were 28 absolutely unique pizzas made–each pizza was as unique as its maker!
