CHESS CLUB (Grades K-6)
TONIGHT AT 7PM in the Children’s Room
You saw it in the Bellmore Herald, now come experience Chess Club in person! This program is great for children in grades K-6, from beginner to advanced! Our instructor will give your child tips on how to play, and coach him/her in a match between peers.
Ballroom Dancing is back! On Thursdays, February 2 and 9 at 7:30 pm, you can learn basic ballroom steps. Come with a partner or by yourself! The cost is $5 per person, per class. Please register in advance at the reference desk.

Senator Fuschillo and Island Harvest are sponsoring a food drive this holiday season. There are over 283,000 Long Islanders affected by hunger and you can help them by donating canned goods and non-perishable foods. We have a drop-off area by the circulation desk where you may bring your donations. Thank you in advance.
It’s the holiday season and we would like to show our appreciation for the military by sending them comfort items and non-perishable goods. We have placed a large gift box outside of the stairway to the Children’s Department, next to the circulation desk. If you would like to donate items, you can drop them off in the gift box at anytime. Thank you in advance.
