  • Bookshare – Bookshare is an online resource that provides you instant access to over 370,000 accessible ebooks!  You can read the books on Bookshare’s website using your screen reading or magnification software; Bookshare’s own Web Reader, which will magnify and read aloud the text; download text-to-speech audio versions of the books for playback on your Digital Talking Book machine; or download the books to your iOS or Android device, Victor Stream, Booksense, note-taker or Braille display. The New York Public Library is will provide a FREE Bookshare memberships to any eligible patron.  If a patron receives or is eligible to receive talking books from the Andrew Heiskell Braille and Talking Book library, they are also able to use Bookshare.
